The Talbot’s in Lockdown 2020
Week5 – Monday 20th April
Week 5… you’ve been emotional! I think we have all had enough of spending so much time together! Ellis loves his own space and time on his own. Quinn loves to play… with her brother! It caused tension and unplanned games of hide and seek!
Quinn’s had a little cry this week. She keeps asking when Corona will go away. She misses her friends and her teachers 🙁 I’m so happy Ellis and Quinn can have their little chats with their friend over the fence 🙂 It’s so cute listening in to what they’ve talk about 🙂 And thanks for the cake, delicious!
Although it’s been a tough week mentally for everyone, we’ve had a fun week. The kids coloured Dan’s hair, just after he cut it into a mohawk! That’s his second one in his lifetime! Not many can say that!
Max got a new carrier so we can go on a few more adventurous walks and not just the ones where his pram can go.
The kids have cooked! They made their own pizza from scratch with Dan and even made pain au chocolate for breakfast. We’ve also had chocolate fondue!
Ellis and Quinn have enjoyed the Supertato story with school and had a bit of a superhero, den building type of week. They’ve also had a present delivery from Grandma Ros with some very impressive sock people, rugby training, garden water fun, more BBQ’s, lockdown frame making, online dance class and a little bit of learning in-between!
