Sand Art!
Ellis and Quinn have done a couple of sand art pictures in the past and they love them. They are great for a craft day but brilliant for a rainy day. We get ours from a lovely lady who can be found on her Facebook page here.
So, if you haven’t heard of sand art, it is a picture with peel-able sections that you peel off and sprinkle coloured sand on to build up the picture. It is a little bit like ‘paint by numbers’ only with sand.
Ellis is really getting the hang of it now and peeling off the sections he wants to cover in the sand by himself. Quinn gave it a good go before she wanted to just sit with the dog in her bed! Ellis finished off her picture!
These make great stocking fillers and Christmas presents but also a great all year round activity. There is usually a great selection of pictures ranging from Disney, Minions, Animals, Cars… to choose from.
