Peter Rabbit Cake Smash
I was really excited to plan this set up. I hadn’t done a Peter Rabbit themed cake smash before and when doing a little research into what I could / wanted to do, it seemed to involve a lot of veg. BIG VEG! It either had to be big to be seen on camera or a lot of it!
So a trip around local supermarkets and grocery shops were in order. I definitely wanted the carrots with their green stalks on. I wasn’t entirely sure why at first but I just knew they looked the typical carrot every rabbit aspired to eat! I think they look pretty awesome hung up as banner at the back. Even though radishes appear a lot on the Peter Rabbit tv programme, they were difficult to find in the shops and when I did find some. I thought they were too small for the set up.
The beautiful cake is from Smashing Cakes and little Harry definitely had a lot of fun playing with it.
There were definitely lot of smiles from beginning to end from Harry. He was certainly a joy to photograph.
So after the cake smash there was a lot of veg to get through! Lots of vegetable curry and vegetable soup was on the menu!
