I have started Ellis early on learning about housework! Well, why not! He is so keen to do everything that we usually end up fighting over the same brush and duster, so I thought hey, why not just train him up then there will be no fighting, he can have them! 🙂
Cleaning the house can take ages with Ellis, he literally has to walk with me holding on to the hoover for the entire house. He used to get bored after a few steps, but now he tells me which direction to go in and when we’ve missed a bit (usually when I have put the hoover away and insists on getting it out again!!)
I love how Ruby thinks housework is a game and is ready to pounce on the broom!
I often wonder if he’ll be so keen to do the cleaning this much when he’s all grown up and living with his family. Will he be the one doing the hoovering, or will he be the one who lifts his legs up from his chair so wifey can hoover under them?? I know for sure he’ll be letting people know when they’ve missed a bit!
