My own newborn Max

Little Max… is not so little anymore!

But 6 months ago, he was this tiny. He managed to fit into my favourite bowl! 🙂

So, even though I am not doing so many newborn shoots any more and I asked a fellow photographer and friend to take my newborn photos for me, I couldn’t resist doing a couple myself.

I am so happy I asked Jen from Jen Turner Photography to do our newborn photo-shoot. I had a planned C -Section (although it didn’t go to plan as he came a day early!) so I knew how hard the recovery would be and I didn’t want to put any added pressure on myself to get these photos in the 2 week time period.

But, I just knew I would regret if I didn’t have a little go myself – with no pressure.

So, here you go…. Max at 2 weeks old in a bear outfit knitted by his Granny!

There is one thing I have definitely noticed by looking back on these photos… Max had slightly more hair 6 months ago!
