Max’s Cake Smash!!!
I’ve been waiting all year for this one! There could have been so many set ups I could have done. (I have seen a lot! Some I have liked and some I have loved.) But for my Max, I wanted something I hadn’t done before. I also have always wanted to do a pumpkin theme cake smash for ages. You could almost say I had Max in October on purpose!!
But…. could I get any pumpkins??? Well, let me tell you, it wasn’t as easy as you think at the beginning of October! Dan went on a mission (I basically told him not to come back unless he had at least 4 pumpkins!). He didn’t have the greatest of luck but managed to get some random pumpkins and quite a few random looking squash. It’s ironic really, because after pumpkin picking with the kids, another desperate attempt to get more supermarket pumpkins, I am now inundated with pumpkins and its been 6 weeks since the cake smash!
Well, I love the final look and the fabulous pumpkin cake from Bluetit Bakery fits in just perfectly.
Max loved attacking the cake somewhat slowly, but he had a good time eating his way through it!
