Autumn Photo Shoot Preston
Every year I have dreams if getting in the autumn colours with the kids for a photo shoot. And pretty much every year, it doesn’t happen. Usually because of the weather and when it is a nice day, I have been working all day so we couldn’t get out. However, this year… we had a free afternoon and it was dry, so we went for it! I am so glad we did. The next free afternoon we had was pouring down with rain.
With every photographer who has children, they will know how difficult it is to get photos of your own kids. They never smile, pull funny (not so funny!) faces, argue and well, generally make their feelings clear that they do not want to be there. But… I managed to get a few of them smiling, like proper smiling, not stupid smiles or goofy faces. Of course they loved playing in the leaves so that always creates fun, happy moments.
What a beautiful natural backdrop the autumn colours create. I am definitely going to try and make this an annual trip for us. Next year, Max will be on his feet. Its a shame he mastered walking just a few weeks after these photos. So for now, Max is once again Toes Out Talbot! But his days are numbered!
I’ve also discovered one thing… I take portrait photos of Quinn, because she’s the girl and wants photos. I take portrait photos of Max because he’s the baby and looks cute. But Ellis… not so much, and I’m not so sure why. I must try to change this.
