The Talbot’s in Lockdown 2020 – Week 2

The Talbot’s in Lockdown

Week 2 – Monday 30th March 2020

So, we have come to the end of Week 2! I have to say, its gone pretty quick! I feel like it was only yesterday that we were video chatting with some friends, but that was actually last weekend. So that has to mean it’s been a good week, surely?

We gave up on our morning exercise, although I really need to get back on this. It is not healthy to eat so many biscuits and not get out of the house!!

This week Quinn has been a pregnant plant pot lady(!) when you see that photo – I know the windows are filthy! :), we’ve face painted (again), painted nails, did hand and foot painted dinosaurs and lions, baked banana and choc chip bread – I did that, I wanted it mixed, baked and in my belly as soon as possible! We have drifted from night pyjamas to day pyjamas and back again, painted rainbows on faces and on windows, practiced our throwing and catching, counting, phonics, reading (discovered Ellis’ sneaky trick with reading books so quick! :(), Quinn did ‘knock a door run’ with a box of love notes to a friend (I actually really loved this a little more than I should have!), watched the films Lady and the Tramp and 4 Kids & It, introduced the kids to one of mine and Dan’s favourite cartoons, Gummi Bears! We played Tricky Word Pong and the most impressive thing of all… Ellis finished his Easter Symbol homework set by school!

So it’s the Easter holidays!!┬áMore of the same then! :) At least Ruby is enjoying her walks!

Might even let them bake in Week 3! :)
