Lavender Sunshine Photo Shoot
Oh my! Isn’t Emilia beautiful!
We had such a lovely little morning with a gorgeous bunch of girlies in the sun surrounded by the lavender at Inglenook Farm in Rainford.
Emilia was a little shy at the very beginning of the photo shoot but I add no pressure to my little models and try to make it as fun as possible. I like to have a little walk and go and see what we can find. I’d like to think they have a good time and even though they know they are being photographed, they don’t feel it is a total chore! I like to ask my little friends questions and tell me things about what they can see and find. Then, before they know it, we’re all done!
I have been visiting Inglenook farm for a good few years and even take photos of my own daughter here. But… unfortunately the farm has now closed. They are still distilling their lavender but it might mean we can not get in the field to take photos and enjoy the lavender anymore. I’ll know more in the next few months.
But…. there are so many other outdoor opportunities for photos!
Spring….. daffodils and that little bit of hope that the summer is on its way…
Bluebells! Always one of my favourites.
Summer in the blossoms and wild flowers… hazy summer days and golden light.
Autumn!!! Wow, the colours you can capture with the leaves and being wrapped up with hats and gloves!
Winter…. wouldn’t it be awesome if we could guarantee a bit snow!!…
I have quite a few little lavender shoots to blog, so keep and eye out for more.
