Lavender Photography is becoming one of my annual must dos!
I am so happy we waited for the rain to stop for Holly’s photo-shoot in the Lavender.
I have been to Inglenook Farm a few times and the sun has always been so high in the sky, that I was surprised after all the nice weather we have had it was raining! Of course we did all the usual things of checking the weather forecast minute by minute of when if might be raining and when it was actually raining. (It’s all lies!)
So, we arrived in what should have been grey cloud to rain…. that was getting heavier. So what you can only do…. go for a cuppa in their nice cafe! We fuelled up on toasted tea cakes and a brew and figured out what the option were but then…. the rain stopped! Woohoo!
As we ventured into the Lavender field the clouds started to clear and the sun was trying to break through. Holly didn’t seem to care that everything was a bit soggy after the down pour, in-fact she had a blast running up and down the lavender lines and watching the bees.
