The month of May saw the lovely Janet marry her fiancé, Rob.
I arrived with the girls at Janet’s parent’s house to a very calm, relaxed house hold! Sonara the Makeup Artist was doing a fantastic job of getting well underway with 4 bridesmaids, 1 Mother of the bride and 1 bride’s makeup while a team from Robert Steel Hairdressing were working their magic.
Janet and Rob had a second photographer who arrived with the boys before the church to check in and see what they were up to. I really love it when I start loading the images onto the computer as I can see what events are happening at the same time – one in the girls camp, one in the boys. Its usually that the boys are arriving at the church with the Best Man and Ushers figuring out their role (handing out Order of service booklets and keeping the groom calm) While back with the girls, its the all important – putting on The Dress! But Janet and Rob were doing the same thing at the same time unbeknown to them…they were opening their wedding day gifts from each other. Rob had given Janet the all important comfy converse dance shoes and Janet gave Rob a beautiful pocket watch.
I loved Janet’s dress! It was from the gorgeous Lotties Bridal Boutique.
I think Janet had the most emotional bridesmaids I had seen for a while. But I liked that.
I think Rob and the men had the most colourful socks I had seem for a while. But I liked that too!
The ceremony was held at a church that is very familiar to me, St John the Baptist’s Church, Broughton. A lovely church with a great choir.
After a few photos after the ceremony we set off for the amazing Beeston Manor. We were able to get outside in the bluebell woods in the grounds of Beeston Manor for some couple photos while we waited for the rest of the guests to arrive.
The evening was filled with power ballads supplied by Deckheds to get the dance floor full.
