They always say, don’t work with children, however… when Laura wanted to come in for photos with her family including 4 children, I knew I had nothing to worry about. I have meet Grace (let’s just say, a few times!) and she has been nothing but polite and lovely. (I know as Laura is reading this she will probably be thinking otherwise!) but I had no hesitations about this session. And I was right! We had such a great time.
This session took place before Christmas and with most events at this festive time, we start to think about family, even more than normal. I am so grateful that I can capture and create beautiful family photos to be treasured.
I love it when families want to come into the studio for photos. Not just because it keeps me busy but because families want to remember. I know you can obviously ‘remember’ but can you really remember how small your children were, with their button nose and tiny hands? Or what they were like before their hair grew? Or how big the big brother was compared to the new arrival? Having photos taken of your family means you can always look back and visually remember. I love that. Take a photo. A video. When years pass in a blink of an eye and all that you know now has changed, its good to look back on the old days, even if the old days don’t seem that old right now.
Grace has visited the studio a couple of times. Here is her Sparkle session if you missed it.
