Cadbury World

A Mother’s Dream #2. Week 17

A Mother’s Dream #2. Week 17

I recently showed Ellis the film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. He loved it! Well, which little boy wouldn’t?

So a trip was planned to the next best thing, Cadbury world, but first…make the Golden ticket!

It’s a shame that you can no longer get the traditional little Cadbury chocolate bars with foil so I could hide a little ticket in. Instead it was a Cadbury Bag of Giant Buttons!

We were greeted at the beginning or our tour with 16 bars of chocolate for us (don’t forget a bag to put them in!). We had a good look around the factory and tasted some very yummy melted chocolate with marshmallows and chocolate buttons, had a little ride on the cars and saw all the cocoa beans doing their thing and had a ride on the 4D adventure, which I think was the highlight for us. I was a little worried how Quinn would cope on the 4D ride. Would she like it? Would she fall off her seat…no! She absolutely loved it and wasn’t fazed at all about the chocolate roller coaster ride! However, she was crying hysterically as we left. The next people for the ride were waiting outside thinking she mustn’t have liked it but she just didn’t want to return the 4D glasses!

I couldn’t take too many photos in the actual factory so most of these photos are on the playground!

More info can of course be found on their website here. Don’t forget to book your tickets before you go.
